    What We Do
    The Lodge was formed for the mutual welfare of law enforcement and correctional officers and the promotion of fraternal, charitable and social relations among its members, as well as the promotion of confidence, cooperation and harmony between this lodge and the general public and all public officials.
     
    Who We Are
    Established on October 20th, 1966, the Lodge was named in memory of Sergeant James S. Fogleman, of the Palm Beach County Sheriff?s Office, who lost his life in the line of duty on March 25th, 1963. Our volunteer Executive Staff has over 300 years of law enforcement and corrections experience combined.
     
    Who We Represent
    FOP Lodge #50 represents both sworn and non-sworn employees of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, as well as other agencies and municipalities. Retired officers are welcome to join. 24/7 Legal Aid is provided by the Florida State FOP Labor Council to actively employed members, including part-time or reserve officers and/or deputy sheriffs.

    HR-218 Qualification & Barbecue for Lodge Members January 11th, 2025 Sponsored by   Qualification Commences at 1100 Hours Sharp A comfortable shuttle bus will be provided for members who do not wish to drive.  The bus (s) will depart Palm Beach County Sheriff's HQS, 3228 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL at 0900 hours.


    A public memorial will be held December 3rd, 1100 AM, at the iThink Financial Amphitheater, West Palm Beach, FL.  Sheriff Bradshaw has predicted more than 7,000 attendees from the various public safety agencies that will be paying their respects to Corporal Paez, Deputy Waller and Deputy Diaz.

    Our thoughts and prayers remain with our fallen deputies, Luis Paez and Ralph Waller, their families and Deputy Dan Diaz who is currently fighting for his life.  The Five-0 Foundation, in conjunction with FOP Lodge 50, has organized a fundraiser to help support the families of Cpl Paez, Deputy Waller and Deputy Diaz. All donations go directly to the families.


    Two Palm Beach County deputies were tragically killed, and a third is fighting for his life after they were hit by a vehicle Thursday on Southern Boulevard near Loxahatchee, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says. The wreck happened in the 18000 block of Southern Boulevard, just west of Seminole Pratt Whitney Road near Lion Country Safari.

     BREAKING NEWS: The U.S. House of Representatives has officially passed HR 82, the Social Security Fairness Act! This crucial step moves us closer to eliminating unfair reductions in Social Security benefits that impact public safety professionals across the nation.


    The Fraternal Order of Police George Webster Memorial State Scholarship Program consists of a variety of scholarships awarded by the Florida State Lodge. The monetary awards range from $500 to a four-year renewable scholarship of $2,000.
