    To the family, friends and colleagues of Deputy Terri Sweeting?Mashkow,  With heavy hearts, we honor the ultimate sacrifice made by Deputy Sweeting-Mashkow on November 21, 2025, while serving the citizens of her community. Her 25 years of dedicated service with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office stand as a testament to her courage, integrity and compassion.


    Today, we honor the brave men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform — those who stood watch, defended our freedoms, and continue to inspire us through their courage and sacrifice.


    HR-218 Qualification & Barbecue Saturday, January 10th, 2026 Hosted by the Five-0 Foundation & FOP Lodge 50 Get ready for a great day of camaraderie, marksmanship, and barbecue! Join your fellow members for our annual HR-218 Qualification Day, followed by a relaxed afternoon cookout in a scenic private setting two hours west of Palm Beach County.


    Congratulations to Paul Daragjati, General Counsel to the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police, on being named the National Fraternal Order of Police Attorney of the Year! Paul’s unwavering commitment to protecting the rights, due process, and dignity of law enforcement officers across Florida and the nation has set a gold standard in legal advocacy.


    We are proud to welcome Paul Maniates as the official Legal and Labor Representative serving the members of FOP Lodge 50.  He replaces Vinnie Castiglia who is retiring at the end of the month.   Paul brings with him a wealth of experience and proven dedication to the law enforcement community.


    This year's show, "The Snow Queen", will be performed at the spacious and comfortable Village of Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center on December 17th, 2025. Children, parents and grandparents will once again witness a delightful performance presented by Don Gruel and Noel Holland of Atlantic Coast Theater for Youth.


    Today, we lost not just a leader, but a man of deep conviction, kindness, and strength. Past President Bill Williams passed away today, leaving behind a legacy of service and integrity.  His vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment shaped the future of Lodge 50. His leadership wasn't about power---it was about purpose.


    We are honored to announce that FOP Lodge 50 and The Five-0 Foundation have made a $10,000 contribution to the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation. This donation will help provide critical care, innovative treatments, and life-saving medical support to children and families in need.


    FOP Lodge 50 and The Five-0 Foundation are honored to donate $10,000 to the Law Enforcement Assistance Foundation (LEAF) to support officers and their families in times of need. Our law enforcement community dedicates their lives to protecting us—now, it’s our turn to give back.


    The Florida State Lodge FOP Memorial Foundation honors Florida law enforcement officers who lost their lives while on duty by maintaining a memorial monument at the state capital. The organization conducts an annual memorial service at the monument site where fallen officers' names are inscribed, and families of the officers are recognized.


    The Friends of Fisher House West Palm Beach recently celebrated a significant milestone as they received a generous $10,000 check from the FOP #50. This contribution will play a vital role in supporting the Fisher House, which provides a comforting home away from home for military families during their time of need.


    FOP Lodge 50 board members, Lou Blasco and Will Prieschl recently traveled to Tampa, FL to present Mr.


    It was an early Christmas for Vetsville Cease Fire House Inc. of Boynton Beach, FL, as board members of FOP Lodge 50 and the Five-0 Foundation delivered a $2,000 check to Ms.


    Executive Board members of FOP Lodge 50 and the Five-0 Foundation presented a check to help support Team South Florida.  Accepting the donation were founder and president, Rich Best and secretary Christine McIntyre Hurley of Team South Florida.  Team South Florida is the organizer of the annual Florida Tour de Force Memorial Bicycle Ride, which Lodge 50 has graciously sponsored.


    Members of the Executive Board of FOP Lodge 50 and the Five-0 Foundation were on hand to present a $5,000 check to Brian Donnelly, co-founder of the 9463 Foundation for Florida's Fallen Officers, in support of the great work they do for the families of fallen officers within the State of Florida.
