What We Do
The Lodge was formed for the mutual welfare of law enforcement and correctional officers and the promotion of fraternal, charitable and social relations among its members, as well as the promotion of confidence, cooperation and harmony between this lodge and the general public and all public officials.

Who We Are
Established on October 20th, 1966, the Lodge was named in memory of Sergeant James S. Fogleman, of the Palm Beach County Sheriff?s Office, who lost his life in the line of duty on March 25th, 1963. Our volunteer Executive Staff has over 300 years of law enforcement and corrections experience combined.

Who We Represent
FOP Lodge #50 represents both sworn and non-sworn employees of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, as well as other agencies and municipalities. Retired officers are welcome to join. 24/7 Legal Aid is provided by the Florida State FOP Labor Council to actively employed members, including part-time or reserve officers and/or deputy sheriffs.

FOP Lodge #50 and the Five-0 Foundation Delivers Major Contribution to the Florida State FOP Memorial Foundation

The Florida State Lodge FOP Memorial Foundation honors Florida law enforcement officers who lost their lives while on duty by maintaining a memorial monument at the state capital. The organization conducts an annual memorial service at the monument site where fallen officers' names are inscribed, and families of the officers are recognized.

National FOP to Attend Signing of the Social Security Act

The National Fraternal Order of Police was one of the main organizations that worked tirelessly to get this passed. Now the National FOP will be present for the signing with a personal invite from the President of the United States. Palm Beach County FOP Lodge #50 is proud of this accomplishment for our retired federal officer members here and across the country.

Lodge #50 and the Five-0 Foundation Continues Its Commitment to Support Military Veterans

The Friends of Fisher House West Palm Beach recently celebrated a significant milestone as they received a generous $10,000 check from the FOP #50. This contribution will play a vital role in supporting the Fisher House, which provides a comforting home away from home for military families during their time of need.

Social Security Fairness Act Passes! Awaits President’s Signature

The Social Security Fairness Act (H.R. 82) has successfully passed both chambers of Congress and is now awaiting President Biden's signature to become law. The House of Representatives approved the bill on November 12, 2024, with a 327-75 vote. The Senate followed by passing the bill on December 21, 2024, with a 76-20 vote.

2024 Children's Show Wins the Hearts of Both Young and Old
