The Florida State Lodge FOP Memorial Foundation honors Florida law enforcement officers who lost their lives while on duty by maintaining a memorial monument at the state capital. The organization conducts an annual memorial service at the monument site where fallen officers' names are inscribed, and families of the officers are recognized. Additionally, scholarships are given to law enforcement personnel aspiring to achieve a higher education through a committee review process. The grounds of the monument are also taken care of regularly.
In keeping with their mission to support fallen officers and their families, Palm Beach County FOP Lodge 50 and the Five-0 Foundation are proud to, once again, support the Florida State Lodge FOP Memorial Foundation with a $19,000 contribution.
Accepting the donation from Lodge # 50 board members, Tom Hannigan Sr., Will Prieschl and Lou Blasco were Florida State FOP Lodge 1st Vice-President, Corey Logan and Florida State FOP Memorial Fund committee representative, Ariel Munoz.
The Five-0 Foundation is the charitable arm of the Palm Beach County FOP Lodge #50. It is supported by public and private contributions. Learn more about Five-0 Foundation at www.five-0foundation.org
