William Francis Williams Obituary

Bill Williams, (William Francis Williams) 67 years old, of Jensen Beach, Florida, went home to Heaven on February 27, 2025, at 5:45 am.

Bill came to South Florida in 1978 after growing up in Upper Darby, PA. He continued his education, graduating from Barry University with an MS degree. 

Bill served the Deerfield Beach Police Department, then the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office for over 30 years. He was an accomplished detective and expert polygraph examiner. Bill served years as an Officer, then President of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #050. He was a relentless champion and advocate for the rights of the disadvantaged and career law enforcement officers and deputies.

Bill's passion was music and family. He loved playing guitar on stage and often helped charities raise money or awareness for many organizations. Bill loved his family, life and friends, and he was loved by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Stadnicar Williams of Jensen Beach, FL; daughter, Shannon Colley of Lexington, KY; daughter, Briana Williams of Lexington, KY; son, Brandon Williams (Catherine) of Lumberton, TX; son-in-law Dylan King of Berwick, PA. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren :Chase, Cheyenee, Karsin, Kinley, Aniya, David, Madalyn, William, Micheal, Alyssa, Alexa, Susie, Julian, Jonathan, Denise, and Joshua. Sister, Susanne Kass (Richard) of Port Orange, FL; sister, Donna Pszegon (Bill) of Port Orange, FL; brother, Bernard Williams (Renee) of Port St. Lucie, FL; niece, Cindy Pszegon (Nick) of Port Orange, FL and many friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Anna & Bernard Williams, his daughter Amanda King, and previous wife, mother of his children, Terri Williams.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. 

Followed by a graveside burial at Palm Beach Memorial Cemetery, 3691 N. Seacrest Blvd, Lantana, FL 33462 on Friday, March 7, 2025, ETA 1:20pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palm Beach Gardens-Moose Lodge #2010, 3600 RCA Blvd. Palm Beach Gardens, F 33410
