    What We Do
The Lodge was formed for the mutual welfare of law enforcement and correctional officers and the promotion of fraternal, charitable and social relations among its members, as well as the promotion of confidence, cooperation and harmony between this lodge and the general public and all public officials.
    Who We Are
Established on October 20th, 1966, the Lodge was named in memory of Sergeant James S. Fogleman, of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, who lost his life in the line of duty on March 25th, 1963. Our volunteer Executive Staff has over 300 years of law enforcement and corrections experience combined.
    Who We Represent
FOP Lodge #50 represents the dedicated men and women of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, both active and retired. 24/7 Legal Aid is provided by the Florida State FOP Labor Council to actively employed members or to those members who are retired but maintain Reserve Deputy or Officer status.

Lakeland Police Sergeant Travis Miller passed away on January 19th, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Travis was a dedicated husband, father, Marine Corps veteran and a 22 year veteran police officer who will truly be missed. The outpouring of support for Sergeant Travis Miller and his family has been beautiful. Many have asked where they could make a donation to his family.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is a holiday that is celebrated annually on January 9th in the United States. It is a day to appreciate and recognize the hard work and dedication of law enforcement officers, who work to protect and serve their communities.

There are three things you can always count on: family, the dedicated men and women of law enforcement and the Fraternal Order of Police.  Let’s kick off 2023 the right way: by being grateful, always looking forward, being proud of yourself, and supporting the people around you.  Stay safe everyone.
