    What We Do
The Lodge was formed for the mutual welfare of law enforcement and correctional officers and the promotion of fraternal, charitable and social relations among its members, as well as the promotion of confidence, cooperation and harmony between this lodge and the general public and all public officials.
    Who We Are
Established on October 20th, 1966, the Lodge was named in memory of Sergeant James S. Fogleman, of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, who lost his life in the line of duty on March 25th, 1963. Our volunteer Executive Staff has over 300 years of law enforcement and corrections experience combined.
    Who We Represent
FOP Lodge #50 represents the dedicated men and women of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, both active and retired. 24/7 Legal Aid is provided by the Florida State FOP Labor Council to actively employed members or to those members who are retired but maintain Reserve Deputy or Officer status.
The Five-0 Foundation was established by members of the Jim Fogleman FOP Lodge 50 of Palm Beach County to assist with Charitable Giving and Community Involvement. When the community comes together to support each other, the outcome is always a victory. Our supported charities include Vetsville Cease-Fire House of Boynton Beach, FL, Easter Seals West Palm Beach, Florida State FOP Memorial Foundation, the FOP Foundation and Little Smiles FL

Lodge 50 hosted the FOP District 4 quarterly meeting on January 20, 2022 at the Sailfish Marina in Palm Beach Shores, FL.  Executive Board members from various FOP Lodges representing Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Town of Palm Beach, Martin and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Offices met to discuss legislative issues and upcoming labor training.

The West Palm Beach Police FOP Lodge 2 and PBSO FOP Lodge 50 joined forces today in bringing smiles to less fortunate children this Holiday through their support of Little Smiles of West Palm Beach.

Effective January 2022, the monthly members meetings will now be held on the first Wednesday of each month.  We will still meet at the Mariott West Palm Beach, 1001 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL within the Bistro Cafe, located on the first floor at the main entrance to the hotel.  Meetings start at 7:00 PM. Food and refreshment is served at 6:30 PM.

Lodge 50 is proud to support Vetsville Cease FIre House of Boynton Beach with a $500.00 dollar Walmart gift card. On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, several of our board of directors went on a shopping spree to purchase necessities for the residents of the shelter.  Special thanks to Nick Leischen, Mike Brunson and Tom Hannigan Sr for their assistance in this worthwhile program.

The Fraternal Order of Police Jim Fogleman Lodge 50, Inc has been serving law enforcement and corrections deputies of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for 53 years. What a tremendous  accomplishment!  I want to highlight some features of our organization that I feel are part of our past success and will continue to be important in the future. Members.
